Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd bounced back from her defeat and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended her bout via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the 2nd. She repeated her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major way. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters, received an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Following a brief break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
